Our workshops combine musical performance, interactive exercises, and open dialogue to form an experiential learning environment for the cultivation of skills necessary for success in today’s business environment.

We utilize a dynamic musical performance practice called “open-ended improvisation” in which music is created spontaneously, with little or no preconceived direction.  No previous musical experience is required, just an open mind and a willingness to try anything!

Experiential Learning
While many other creativity-based workshops use lectures and role-play to simply transmit information, we place participants in improvisational situations that prompt them to experiment in an environment that is both genuine and immediate.

Related skills
Engaging in this process of group improvisation allows participants to work with skills that have many applications beyond the music itself. Just a few of these skills are:

  • Divergent thinking
  • Managing conflicts in a collaborative environment
  • Internalizing and managing complexity
  • Tolerating ambiguity, and multiple right answers
